Play with the Chiefs! October 19
Well, Chiefs lost on Sunday. At one point, Steelers had more first downs (12) than Chief’s total yards (9). Come play and show the Chiefs how to get first downs (by playing G/10, d2) and cheer on the Chiefs as they take on the Oakland Raiders!!
Where: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Olathe North - 12070 S Strang Line Rd, Olathe, KS 66062… Oregon Trail Room
When: Registration at 5:30-6:15PM. Round 1 starts 6:30PM.
What: $5 Entry Fee. 5 Total of G/10,d2 US Chess rated games. First 4 rounds are standard Swiss System pairings. Then last “extra point” round pairings will be determine by the standings (e.g. 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, etc.) US Quick-rated only. Must be a current US Chess member to participate.
Other: NO Annual Club membership dues; NO spectator fee. Free Parking. Next to several restaurants --- e.g. KC Joe’s.
